Learn through fun

Our History programmes focus on hands-on, interactive learning, exploring Pre-history, Roman, Anglo-Saxons, Medieval, Tudors, and Stuarts, as well as Our City, Past and Present days. The days bring the period to life with dressing up, artefact handling, Q&A sessions, role play and more. We offer guided tours of medieval Bradwell Abbey and resources to accompany the visit.

What schools are saying

“Thank you for bringing history alive on our visit last Tuesday. The children learnt such a lot and were ‘buzzing’ with excitement about what they had seen and heard. I hope to make this an annual trip!”

— Yr 3 teacher

“I am writing this letter to thank you for taking our year group on this incredible history trip around Willen and for showing us the straight tooth mammoth tusk! I found this trip amazing and I hope you loved it too! We all loved the day and I wish you would come again and tell us more about history.”

— Yr 4 pupil

“ All 3 trips with the different year groups were fantastic! We would love to keep them in place for next year for our children moving forwards – they were better than our trips to other venues!”

— Head Teacher
