Working with MKCDC

Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre is an educational charity, based on the medieval site of Bradwell Abbey. Its aim is to increase the understanding and appreciation of Milton Keynes, in terms of its rich history and unique geography and culture. MKCDC holds an in-depth archive which was set up to record the fascinating story of the development of the new city of Milton Keynes. Many important documents have been preserved here that otherwise would have been lost - books, maps, reports, posters, census data, plans and periodicals. Our educational activities with school children, higher education learners, professionals and local people are informed by this rich resource.
