The year is 1939, Hitler has invaded Poland and what follows is a war that touches lives across the world.

Through re-enactment, code-breaking and role play, find out what life was life for the home front and armed forces during WWII.

 
  • Suitable for KS 1-4. Please let us know if you have any disability requirements.

  • 9.50am to 2.10pm with a lunch break in the middle of the day. Please bring your own packed lunch.

  • Get in touch if you’d like coach or minibus hire recommendations.

  • Prices start at £7 per child, with a minimum booking of £250.

Objectives

  • Take part in our timeline activity and understand when WWII took place. Find out the nations involved in the conflict.

  • What was life like for an evacuee? Learn to ID aircraft, how to break codes and weigh out your rations.

  • Take part in a foot drill and explore typical uniform worn by soldiers. Understand the hardships faced by forces fighting in the war.
