Vice Chair

Dr Wei Yang has served as a Board Trustee of Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre since 2009. Wei is the Chairman of Wei Yang & Partners, an award-winning master planning company in London. She is a renowned town planner and urban designer with considerable wealth of experience in both new communities and urban regeneration. Wei is a key figure in promoting 21st Century Garden City in the UK and China. Her firm's submission on the New Garden Cities in Britain won the Finalist Award for the Wolfson Economics Prize on Garden Cities in 2014. Wei is a Fellow of Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and a Fellow of Academy of Social Sciences. She is also the Vice-chair of RTPI International Committee and an Independent Trustee of the Landscape Institute (LI).
